你还记得去年震惊世界的5.12四川汶川大地震吗？经历了惨痛地震伤害的孩子们，那些在地震中不幸失去父亲、母亲的孩子们现在又是怎样的情况呢？

今年清明节，在朋友Michael的陪同下，我和家人专程去了地震受灾最严重的北川县等处。我们在绵阳板房，协和医院，在北川中学，安县秀水中学，在肃寂无声的北川县城原址（现已作为地震遗址）……我们看到了一幅幅感人的画面。

 

    

    

    

    

    

    虽然在和孩子，家长们交流时，感受到他们内心还有一丝伤痛，但更多的是他们的坚强，乐观和对新生活的憧憬，对未来的期盼。记得在绵阳协和医院看望一位9岁的小朋友时，他妈妈告诉我说，家里的成年男子都在地震中遇难了，现在一大家人都是女子，唯一幸存的男子就是现在躺在病床上的9岁儿子。走出病房，说起这些，她的眼里闪着泪花。她告诉我她现在是一家人的支柱，平时她总是微笑着鼓励别人，不在家人面前掉泪。此刻，她握着我的手，就像看到挚友一般，忍不住流下眼泪，压抑了许久的情感释放而出。但是很快，她告诉我，日子再艰难，她也会把家庭的重担挑起，把孩子培养成才，把母亲和婆婆照顾好。她告诉我刚找到一份工作，她很珍惜，会努力地工作，开始新生活。她对未来充满了憧憬，并和我们约定三年后去她家做客。她说，到那时你们将看到一个面貌全新的北川。微笑重新又回到她的脸上，望着这个坚强的女性，我心中油然而生一股敬意。

回到成都后我的心情久久不能平静，每当我静下心来，我的眼前常常会想起他们。我能为你们做些什么呢？

感谢甘泉基金在灾区的帮助项目，他们计划帮助1万个灾区家庭，从灾区回来后，我和家人也参与其中。目前我们在帮助一个家庭，每个月保持联系。

这个项目不仅只是物质和经济的援助，而且派志愿者到灾区驻点，做心理辅导。帮助灾区人们走出地震的心理阴影，开始阳光生活。尤其重视培养孩子们健全的品格，长大成为社会有用之才。目前已有上千人在参与并奉献爱心。在过去的一年多里，已帮助了三百多个家庭，1千多人蒙福。

今年暑假，我们特别为灾区儿童举办了一个主题为“爱是永不止息”--爱与梦想2009 成长夏令营。小朋友们在绵阳的四天和成都的一天时间里度过了一个愉快而难忘的夏令营。

感谢我的同事和团队，带领孩子们参观电脑城和科技展览馆，还有他们专门制作了科技幻灯片和组织有奖问答活动。以及为这次活动他们专门订制了送给老师和小朋友的礼物。

也感谢百脑汇的Ms.Wang，当初和她谈到想邀请小朋友来成都的想法时，得到了她的大力支持和电脑城参观活动的策划，我也特别感谢Michael和 Tori夫妇，作为夏令营的总领队，他们付出了很多辛苦。还有提供幻灯片素材的Mr.Yu & Mr.Jiang等，以及许多为我们提供帮助支持的朋友……，祝福你们永远平安、健康、快乐！

PS: 很高兴我上个月课间和UESTC EMBA 的几个同学说起这件事，得到了积极的回应。在上周我的一个同学Mr.Su 告诉我他将邀请孩子们明年暑期去他那儿，他愿意赞助活动费用。 我知道那是一个很美的避暑度假的好地方。Mr.Su在当地不仅是一个颇有实力的知名企业家，而且也是一个有社会责任感的企业家。真是感恩！同时也让我们祝福他和他的企业更加兴旺发达！

       Do you still remember the world-shaking 5.12 Wenchuan Earthquake last year? Now how are those children who experienced the deep grief of the earthquake, and those who lost their fathers and mothers in the earthquake?

At the Qingming Festival of this year, accompanied by my friend Michael, I and the family went to the most devastated Beichuan county and other places in the earthquake. In Mianyang board room, Xiehe Hospital, Beichuan middle school, Anxian Xiushui middle school, and in the silent Beichuan county town (now as the earthquake ruins) ......we saw moving pictures.

        When talking with the children and parents, although we can feel the grief in their innermost feelings, what they shew  are mostly their resolution, optimism, expectation to a new life, and hope of the future. I remembered that when we visited a 9 year-old child in Mianyang Xiehe Hospital, his mother told me that male grown-ups of the family had died in the earthquake, now everybody is female, and the only survived male is her 9 year-old son lying at the hospital. Walking out the hospital ward and mentioning these, her eyes were full of tear. She told me that she is now the whole family's bread-maker, at usual times she always smiles to encourage others, and does not shed tears in front of her family members. At this moment, shaking my hands like seeing an old and intimate friend, she could not help tearing to release her emotion that has been suppressed for a long time. But soon, she told me that no matter how hard the life is, she will shoulder the burden for the family, will raise her child well, will look after her mother and mother-in-law well. She told me she just got a job, she cherished it very much, and will work diligently to start a new life. She was full of expectation to the future, and we made an appointment to visit her family three years later. She said at that time, you will see a Beichuan that takes on a completely new look. Smile returned to her face; looking at this strong-minded woman, respect arises in my heart.

After returning to Chengdu, my emotion cannot be tranquil. Whenever I calm down, I always think about them. What can I do for them?

I thank Ganquan Fund for their helping project in the disaster areas, they planned to help 10,000 families in the disaster areas. Coming back from these areas, I and my family members also participated in it. At present we are helping a family and keeping touch with it every month.

This project is not only material and economical aids, but more of sending volunteers to the disaster areas, who will station in these areas and provide psychological counseling so to help these people to walk out of the haunt of the earthquake and to start a life of sunshine. Especially attention goes to raise a perfect moral character of the children so that they will grow up into useful talents for the society. At present over a thousand people have joined the project and have offeredd their love. In the past one year and so, the project has helped more than 300 families, benefiting more than 1000 people.

This summer vacation, we conducted the “Love is Eternal”—Love and Dream 2009 growth summer camp for the children from the disaster areas. Four days in Mianyang and one day Chengdu, the children had a happy and unforgettable summer camp.

Thanks go to my colleagues and team, who led the children to visit the Computer City and the Science Exhibition Hall, and also prepared powerpoints and organized prizeed question and answer activity for them, as well as gifts to teachers and children specially ordered for this activity.

Thanks also go to Ms. Wang of Buynow, who supported the idea of inviting the children and visiting the computer city, I am also grateful to the couple Michael and Tori, who acted as the leader of the summer camp, and they have devoted much energy and heart. Also Mr.Yu & Mr.Jiang who provided materials for ppt making, as well as many friends who helped and supported us ......, may peace, health, and happiness be with you forever!

PS: I was very happy that I received positive response last month when I talked with several UESTC EMBA schoolmates. Last week my schoolmate Mr.Su told me that he will invite the children to go to his place next year’s summer, and he was willing to support the activity’s expense. I know that palce is a beautiful place for summer vacation. Mr.Su is not only a well-known entrepreneur in the local place, moreover also an entrepreneur with sense of social responsibilities.

       I feel grateful! At the same time let me wish him and his enterprise more prosperous!
